    Our parents and community understand that education is important, and they know the value of hard work and dedication.

    We believe in the potential of all students and strive to provide them with educational opportunities and experiences so that they can grow and learn.  We have high expectations for all our students, and we motivate them to excel.   

    We focus our teaching and learning on the classic core of reading, writing, math, science, and history. 

    We believe our public school exists to serve the public and the education of the children who attend here. Parents and the public are welcome at WBISD, and our books, curriculum and teaching materials will always be available for review.

    Education is more than just preparing students for the STAAR test. We learn not for school but for life.

    If you are searching for something different for your child, Walnut Bend does accept transfer students as space allows.
