If you are bringing your child to school or picking them up please remember the following: The drive is designated one-way entering the east gate and exiting the west. Also, please keep in mind the speed limit inside the school gates is 5 mph. All students will enter the building through the doors at the main entrance with the covered walkway.
When picking up your child please park on the north side of the drive along the sidewalk behind the bus. Bus riders will be excused first and followed by the parent pick ups. After the bus has departed, parent pick up students will be released. These students will be released one at a time when their parent or guardian has pulled up to the awning leading into the main entrance. We hope this new procedure allows for the safest means possible for the pick up of your child.
School lunch and breakfast rates are: $1.25 lunch $.75 breakfast. The National School Lunch/Breakfast program applications are included in this packet. If you have any questions about this program please contact Christy Clark at 940-665-5990.
If your child is on medication daily that has to be taken during school hours, please request a Medication Permission Slip from the office. It must be signed by the prescribing physician in order for the medication to be taken at school.
Two important changes have been made from last year, the discipline program and the Optional Flex Year Program. Information about these additions has been put in this first day packet. Please read this information and contact the school if you should have any questions.
Sincerely,
